Sundarban Courier becomes DHL's retail booking agent

DHL, a leading express and logistics company of the world, has made a retail booking arrangement with Sundarban Courier Service (Pvt) Ltd, a courier services provider in the country.
The arrangement has allowed Sundarban Courier Service to book express shipments on behalf of DHL Express, according to a press release.
In this regard, an official corporate signing ceremony took place between DHL Worldwide Express Bangladesh Private Ltd and Sundarban Courier Service (Pvt) Ltd at the country office of DHL Express in the city recently.
The agreement was signed by Desmond Quiah, country manager of DHL Worldwide Express Bangladesh Private Ltd, and Imamul Kabir Shanto, chairman and managing director of Sundarban Courier Service (Pvt) Ltd, on behalf of their respective companies.
Under the deal, besides DHL Express' own outlets, Sundarban Courier Service will be allowed to book express shipments on behalf of DHL from its customers in its selected outlets and use DHL Express' services for sending its time-sensitive international documents and parcels.
DHL's service to the Sundarban Courier features state-of-the-art management or shipments at operational facilities gateway and hubs, and delivery of shipments to consignee with up-to-the-minute track and trace capability.
