Supply of urea normal: BCIC

Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) has taken initiatives to continue its efforts for normal supply and marketing of urea fertiliser in the country.
As per demand of the Ministry of Agriculture, 1,52,630 tonnes of urea have been allocated at upazila level for the month of July.
All fertiliser and seed monitoring committees in the districts have been urged to take necessary initiatives to distribute fertilisers among farmers through the dealers from July 01, 2007.
A huge quantity of urea has been stored in fertiliser factories and godowns as buffer stocks.
There is no shortage or crisis of urea in the country at this moment.
