Suranjit admitted to LabAid Hospital

The condition of Awami League presidium member Suranjit Sengupta, MP, is stable, sources at LabAid Hospital in the city said. Former Railways minister Suranjit Sengupta admitted to the hospital with cardiac problems on Sunday night. He was rushed to the hospital around 10:00pm and was under close observation in its CCU. Suranjit, 68, was elected MP unopposed in the January 5 national election from Sunamganj-2 constituency, according to a private TV channel.
