Suranjit stresses revamping of AL

Awami League (AL) Advisory Council member Suranjit Sengupta, MP, has laid importance on revamping the ruling party from its grassroots to successfully run the country for five-years, reports BSS.
"There is no alternative to revamping the party to march ahead with holding of conferences of union, ward, upazila and district units and the party should support the government activities," he said.
Suranjit Sengupta, also a senior parliamentarian, said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion in the city.
Bangabandhu Academy organised the discussion on the current politics at the auditorium of Diploma Engineers Institution at Kakrail with its adviser Haji Md Selim, MP, in the chair.
Standing committee member of Samyabadi Dal Haroon Chowdhury, adviser of Bangabandhu Academy Engineer Motaleb Hossain, vice- president Rezaul Karim Reza and Awami Muktijoddha Projonma League president Asaduzzaman Durjoy were the discussants, among others.
