Sushma Swaraj may visit BD in June-end

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will undertake her first visit to a neighbouring country by the end of this month and Bangladesh might be her destination. Syed Akbaruddin, Spokesman of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), at a press conference in New Delhi has said the first visit of the External Affairs Minister, in her individual capacity as minister outside India, would be to a neighboring country. Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali had written a letter to Swaraj soon after she was sworn in as External Affairs Minister on May 26 felicitating her and inviting her to visit Bangladesh. She accepted the invitation and expressed her willingness to visit Bangladesh soon, according to a news agency.
