Suspected HuJi men on remand

Two suspected Harkatul Jihad leaders arrested Sunday were granted five-day police remand by the court Tuesday, reports UNB.
Abdul Hannan alias Sabbir and his associate Aynal Haq were taken into custody by RAB who said they were accused of heinous crimes including bomb attack at Ramna Batamul, Udichi function and planting of 76kg bomb allegedly in a bid to kill Awami League (AL) Chief Sheikh Hasina at Kotalipara about a decade ago.
They remained fugitive all these years.
The police sought for 15-day remand for interrogation but Magistrate Kazi Shahidul Islam granted five days.
