Suspected killer of Jhenidah BNP leader arrested

The main accused in BNP leader and ex-panel mayor Ismail Hossain killing case was arrested from Jessore town on Friday night. Acting on a tip-off, a team from Kaliganj police station, led by officer-in-charge Anwar Hossain, arrested Shajahan Ali from the district town around 9:00pm. Ismail Hossain, Kaliganj thana BNP leader and ex-panel mayor of Kaliganj municipality, was killed in broad daylight on May 13, according to UNB.
