Suspected mugger lynched in city

A suspected mugger was killed in a mob attack on the Humayun Road in the city's Mohammadpur area Thursday. Police said the local people caught the unknown mugger, aged around 25, red-handed at about 1:00 pm while he was snatching valuables from a man. They beat him up. The mugger died on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. —UNB
