Suspected 'rajakar' held

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Apr 23 (UNB): Police arrested a fugitive accused of a case filed for killing 12 people during the Liberation War in 1971 from Housenagar village under Shibganj Upazila Wednesday.
Police said they arrested rajakar Yasin Ali (65), from his own residence.
Badiur Rahman alias Buddhu of Parchowka village under Shibganj Upazila filed the case against 12 'rajakars', including Yasin Ali, with the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court on February 26, 2008.
In his complaint, Buddhu alleged that the accused gunned down 12 people, including his father Muslemuddin, at Humayun Reza School compound on October 7, 1971.
All the accused except Yasin Ali and two others appeared before the court earlier.
