SUST closed sine die after 1 killed in BCL infighting

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Sylhet was closed sine die following the death of a student in a Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) infighting on Thursday. The university authorities have asked male students to vacate their dormitories by 4:00pm on Thursday and female students by 9:00am on Friday. SUST Teachers’ Association General Secretary Farid Uddin said that Vice-Chancellor Aminul Haque Bhuiyan decided on the closure after a meeting with the Teachers’ Association, Proctorial Body, and the Provosts, according to a news agency.
