SUST closes until June 25 for flood

SYLHET, June 17 (BSS): The authority concerned of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) has decided not to take classes and exams of SUST till June 25 next following worsening of flood situation in Sylhet.
The decision was taken at an emergency syndicate meeting today, said the university's vice-chancellor (acting) Dr Md Anowarul Islam.
The floodwaters inundated the city as well as the campus of SUST, said Anowarul, adding that the communication system has become also disconnected.
