SUST reopens on Sept 10

SYLHET, Sep 5 (bdnews24.com): Classes of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) resume on September 10 after nearly three weeks of shutdown.
SUST syndicate, the highest decision-making body of the university, set the date in a meeting Wednesday, Vice-chancellor M Aminul Islam told journalists.
All student dormitories would be re-opened on September 8, the meeting decided.
Authorities would announce fresh schedule for the stalled examinations immediately after the resumption, according to the meeting decisions.
"The situation is quite normal here compared to other universities. So we have decided to resume academic activities", the SUST vice-chancellor said.
