SUST teachers stage demo demanding VC\\\'s removal

A section of teachers of Shahjalal (R) University of Science and Technology (SUST) continued their movement demanding the removal of its Vice-chancellor who joined his office on Sunday after a leave. The agitating teachers brought out a procession on the campus in the morning and staged a sit-in in front of the VC’s office around 10am to press home their demand, including removal of VC Prof Aminul Haque Bhuiyan. Later, the protesting teachers submitted a memorandum to the university administration for shelving the authority of VC Prof Aminul Haque Bhuiyan. The SUST VC restarted administrative activities after joining the office on Sunday after over a month, according to a news agency.
