Swajan to celebrate 12th anniversary today at RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Feb 16: Swajan, a blood donating organisation of Rajshahi University (RU) is going to observe its 12th founding anniversary on Tuesday.
President of Swajan Kawsar Ahmed announced it at a press briefing held on Sunday noon at the office of Swajan.
RU Vice Chancellor Professor Muhammad Mizan Uddin is expected to inaugurate the anniversary programme on Tuesday morning around 9:00 am.
Besides, a discussion and a convening committee announcement programme will take place at the Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium.
Prominent litterateur Hasan Azizul Haque is expected to attend the programme as the key speaker.
Mentionable, Swajan started its journey as a volunteer blood donating organisation on RU campus with the authorisation of university administration on October 12, 2002.
