Swechchhasebak Dal calls hartal in Faridpur today

FARIDPUR, Jan 9 (UNB): Local Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal on Friday called a daylong hartal in the district for Saturday protesting the 'confinement' of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia to her office.
The shutdown is also meant for protesting the use of pepper spray on Khaleda, banning the publication of BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman's statements and demanding the release of all BNP leaders, including its acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
