Swechchhasebak Dal leader arrested

Police arrested a local leader of Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal in Sylhet city on Friday evening. The arrested is Rasel Ahmed, 27, convenor of Sylhet city Ward No. 8 unit Swechchhasebak Dal, volunteer wing of BNP, and son of Tutu Miah, a resident of Lovely Road in the city. Jakir Hossain, assistant sub-inspector of Jalalabad Police Station, said Rasel was arrested from Pathantula point for attacking a community centre in the city. Sunrise Community Centre of Sylhet came under attack a few days ago, according to a news agency.
