Swedish envoy meets Khaleda

Swedish Ambassador to Dhaka Anneli Lindhal Kenny met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday night. The hour-long meeting that began around 7:30pm was held at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB. During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interests, Bangladesh’s latest political situation and the recently-held national election. BNP vice chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and chairperson’s adviser Sabihuddin were present at the meeting, according to a news agency.
