Swimming, Water Polo meet begins

The Inter-Services Swimming, Water Polo and Diving Competitions began at the Banani Army Swimming Complex in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army Major General M Mahfuzur Rahman inaugurated the week-long meet as the chief guest. On the opening day Wednesday, 200-metre butterfly, 100-metre freestyle, 50-metre breaststroke, one-metre spring board diving and water polo competitions were decided.
Finals of different events and prize distribution ceremony of the meet will be held on June 16.
