Syedpur IBL holds village project meet

NILPHAMARI, Apr 20: Yearly meeting of village development project of Islami Bank Ltd. Syedpur was held at Murtaja auditorium recently. Presided over by GM of Bogra zone of the bank Shafiqul Moula, the meeting was attended among others by MD Bangladesh Bank Rangpur Nurun Nahar as chief guest, branch manager of the bank Ruhal Amin, project officer Abu Bakar Siddique, branch officer Rashedul Karim and others. While speaking on the occasion the guests highlighted the importance of investment opportunity on minimum profit, health awareness of the villagers, tree plantation, sanitation, tubewell installation for pure drinking water, providing incentive and financial support to the poor and meritorious students. At the end of the meeting agriculture lone was distributed among the farmers.9
