Syful elected ICAB president

Md Syful Islam has been elected President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for the year 2012.
He was elected in the council meeting of the institute in the city recently.
Md Abdus Salam, Shahjahan Majumder and Showkat Hossain were elected vice-presidents of the institute for the same period.
Syful was the vice-president of ICAB in two consecutive years in 2008 and 2009. He is the Technical Advisor in the SAFA Board from ICAB. He obtained Master of Commerce with honours from the University of Dhaka in 1982 and secured first class. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.
Islam is now the member council of the institute and the nominated Director of Rupali Bank Limited.
Md Abdus Salam has been re-elected vice -president.
Shahjahan Majumder is a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAB. Showkat Hossain qualified as Chartered Accountant from ICAB in 1976. — Statement
