Sylhet declare 1st innings

Hosts Sylhet Division declared the first innings at 366 for 9 in 126.4 overs against league leaders Barisal Division on the second day of the 8th round match of the four-day Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 10th National Cricket League at Sylhet Stadium Tuesday, reports UNB.
Resuming batting with 276 for 6 that included 111 runs by opener Saikat Ali, Sylhet Division added another 90 runs for the loss of three wickets in 32.4 overs before they declared the first innings.
Middle order batsman Golam Rahman, who was batting with 70 runs, made the 2nd ton of the innings scoring team highest 116 runs off 280 balls with 18 fours and a six, while lower order Taposh Ghosh made another useful 38 runs that included six boundaries.
Nasir Hossain claimed all the three wickets of the day conceding 51 runs in his 19.4 overs spell, apart from Tariqul Islam's four-wicket haul Monday.
In reply, Barisal Division made a good start scoring 129 for 2 in 54.1 overs at stumps on the 2nd day, Tuesday.
Opener Nasiruddin and skipper Imran Ahmed remained unbeaten on 54 and 3 runs respectively after the departure of one down Hannan Sarker (50) and opener Rony Talukder (8).
Taposh Ghosh and Shuvashish Roy took one wicket each giving away 16 and 31 runs respectively.
In another match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at the city's Mirpur, Dhaka Division trailed by 129 runs against Rajshahi Division on the 2nd day of the four-day affair Tuesday.
Replying to Dhaka Division's poor first innings total of 142 runs, Rajshahi Division resumed the first innings with overnight 91 for 2 and eventually scored 283 for all in 107.5 overs to take a 141-run first innings lead.
Nightwatch batsman Suhrawardy Shuvo (9) scored team highest 85 runs off 176 balls with 11 fours and a six, while another night watch batsman Jahurul Islam (56) scored 83 runs off 199 balls, also with 11 fours and a six.
Arafat Sunny, Mohammad Azim and Emon Ahmed grabbed two wickets each for 45, 61 and 62 runs respectively.
In reply, Dhaka Division opened the 2nd innings and scored 12 for 1 in 8.3 overs at stumps on day two. Elias Sunny and Javed Omar Belim were batting with 6 and 1 run respectively.
In the day's other match, hosts Khulna Division took a huge 280-run first innings lead over Chittagong Division on the 2nd day Tuesday at the Bir Shrestho Shaheed Motiur Rahman Stadium in Khulna.
Khulna resumed the first innings with overnight 267 for 6 and declared the innings at 301 runs for 9 in 100.2 overs. Mohammad Selim scored 38 runs off 90 balls with five boundaries while another night watch batsman Ziaur Rahman (43) added only two more runs to his credit on day two.
National colour pacer Tareq Aziz Khan, who grabbed three wickets Monday, took one more wicket to finish the day with 28.2-10-69-5, while Rubel Hossain took two for 97 runs.
In reply, Chittagong Division were folded their first innings cheaply for 121 runs in 31.4 overs.
Lower order Rezaul Karim (30), Arman Hossain (17) and Faisal Hossain (12) were the major contributors for Chittagong. Another 32 runs came from extras.
