Sylhet Gas Fields holds 43rd AGM

The 43rd annual general meeting (AGM) of Sylhet Gas Fields Limited (SGFL), one of the gas and petroleum products producing companies of Petrobangla, was held at the conference room of the company's Dhaka Liaison Office, Petrocenter, in Dhaka recently.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Abul Mansur Md. Faizullah presided over the meeting attended by Petrobangla Chairman Md. Rezanur Rahman and other shareholders, members of the Board of Directors, and Managing Director Prof Md. Abdul Jalil Pramanik.
According to the audited accounts for the fiscal year 2024-25, the company has earned a total revenue of Tk 27.40 billion (Tk 2740.82 crore) by producing, processing and selling natural gas and petroleum products (condensate, petrol, diesel, kerosene, octane, NGL and LPG).
The company has deposited over Tk 8.76 billion in supplementary duty, VAT, income tax, dividend and DSL to the government treasury and earned a profit of Tk 5.38 billion.
