Sylhet to go under security blanket if needed: EC Rafikul

SYLHET, July 14 (UNB): Election Commissioner Md Rafikul Islam said on Saturday that security will be maximised in the city ahead of the city corporation polls with the deployment of additional armed and unarmed members of Ansar, Rab, police and BGB.
"Stern action will be taken against any member of law enforcing agencies if his/her involvement is found in harassing any candidate," warned the election commissioner at a view-exchange meeting with the aspirants at a city auditorium.
