An oil-carrying train has derailed in South Surma, snapping Sylhet’s rail connections with Dhaka and Chittagong cities. One of its wagons jumped the tracks at Moglabazar in Sylhet’s South Surma area around 9:30am on Tuesday, said Sylhet Railway Station’s Manager Md Abdur Razzak. The train was going to Sylhet from Chittagong after loading fuel oil from Eastern Refinery, according to a news agency.
