TAC tenure ends on Dec 31

The Truth and Accountability Commission (TAC) will wind up its activities on December 31, leaving some issues unresolved. Disclosing this at a press briefing Wednesday afternoon, TAC Chairman Justice Habibur Rahman Khan said the Commission completed hearings of the clemency-seekers Tuesday. He said they would leave the issues to be resolved by the law ministry, and the Commission had already written to the ministry in this regard. He also said the Commission heard and gave verdict on 451 of the 490 applicants. — UNB
