Tagore songs at Indian High Commission

The High Commission of India will present a documentary on Rabindranath Tagore "Bhuvan Bhara Sur" and 'Rabindra Sangeet" by Md Anisur Rahman, reports BSS.
The function will be held today (Friday) at 7:00 pm at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in the city.
Born in 1933, Anisur Rahman's principal aesthetic pursuit is to sing Tagore's songs in a distinctive style of his own.
He has performed and lectured on Tagore songs in Bangladesh, India and the United States and has been writing on the subject.
