Tagore\\\'s birth anniv observed in Magura

MAGURA, May 9: 154th birth anniversary of late poet Rabindranath Tagore was observed in Magura on Friday.
Jatio Rabindra Shangit Shammilon Parishad Magura district unit took different programmes to observe the day and brought out a rally in the town in the morning. A discussion meeting was arranged at Magura Ashaduzzaman auditorium. Mazharul Hoque Lipu and Mokhlesur Rahman respectively president and general secretary of the organisation, Magura district unit spoke in the meeting. The programmes ended with a cultural show at the same venue.
