Tahsin elected AAA president

Tahsin Aman, vice chairman of Aman Group of Companies, has been elected president of American Alumni Association (AAA) for a two-year term from March 2011, said a press statement. Md Mujibul Hoque and Mustofa M Kamal have been elected secretary and treasurer of the association respectively. AAA is a union of graduates from American colleges and universities. The association works in cooperation with the US Embassy in Dhaka and the head of the Mission is the co-chair of the AAA governing council. AAA gives awards and scholarships, assists the visiting representatives of American educational institutes and the Bangladeshi students interested to pursue higher studies in US.
