Taijul clinches Walton Smart \\\'Player of the Match\\\' award

Bangladesh cricket team's slow-left-arm spin bowler Taijul Islam bagged Walton Smart 'Player of the Match', reports UNB.
Bangladesh-West Indies series co-sponsor Walton Group Director Uday Hakim handed over US$ 300 as prize money and a smart phone handset to Taijul at Saint St Vincent Wednesday.
Test debutant Taijul grabbed 5 wickets for 135 runs in 47 overs in the first innings against West Indies to be adjudged Walton Smart Player-of-the Match while Tigers lost by 10 wickets.
Bangladesh will play the 2nd Test match beginning on September 13 at the Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia.
