Taiwan, Bangladesh to work unitedly for ensuring economic development

CHITTAGONG, July 23: Taiwan and Bangladesh are interested in working unitedly for ensuring overall economic development through proper utilisation of unique geographical location and prioritised market facilities.
In this connection, Bangladesh based Taiwan Trade Centre (TTC) Director Woody Wang made a courtesy call on Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) president MA Latif MP at the Chamber auditorium in the port city Tuesday.
The TTC director commended the socio-economic progress so far achieved in Bangladesh and also gave assurance to extend Taiwanese assistance in the different sectors of the country.
He sought cooperation of CCCI president for participation of Bangladeshi trade delegation in the different upcoming trade shows and exhibitions in Taiwan.
Greeting the TTC director, the CCCI president described Taiwan as a best partner towards development of Bangladesh.
He called upon the Taiwanese entrepreneurs and businessmen to invest in Bangladesh and expressed his desire to work unitedly.
