Taiwan co to invest $10.094m in Ctg EPZ

M/s Bonshoe Bangladesh Co Limited, a Taiwanese company will set up a shoe manufacturing industry in the Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ), says a press release.
This 100 per cent foreign-owned company will invest 10.094 million US dollar in setting up the unit and will produce high prices leather shoes.
The company will also create employment opportunity for 1089 persons including 30 foreigners.
An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s Bonshoe Bangladesh Co Limited at the BEPZA complex in the city Wednesday.
Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA Md Moyjuddin Ahmed and Chairman of M/s Bonshoe Bangladesh Co Limited Victor Lin signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Executive Chairman Brig General Jamil Ahmed Khan, ndc, psc, Member (Engineering) Jnan Ranjan Sil, Member (Finance) AZM Azizur Rahman, General Manager (investment Promotion) AKM Mahabubur Rahman, General Manager (public relations) Md Khorshed Alam and other officials of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
