Taiwan-Korea joint company to invest $7.452m in KEPZ

M/s Yi Zhan Industrial (BD) Co Ltd, a Taiwan-Korea company, will set up a shoe manufacturing industry in the Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone, reports UNB.
The company will invest 7.452 million in setting up their unit and manufacture shoe accessories.
It will also create employment opportunity for 381 persons, including 12 foreign nationals.
An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Yi Zhan in BEPZA Complex in the city Tuesday.
High officials of BEPZA and Yi Zhan were present on the occasion.
