Takaful Islami Ins chairman, vice-chairman re-elected

Takaful Islami Insurance Limited unanimously re-elected Tahmina Afroz as its chairman and Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury (Emdad) as vice chairman (Chairman of Lucky Group) for the year 2023-24 in the 133rd meeting of the company's Board of Directors.
The meeting was held in Dhaka on June 17, says a press release.
Tahmina Afroz is the wife of renowned businessman Anwer Hossain Khan MP, Chairman & Managing Director of Modern Group.
She is a Director of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College and Hospital, Modern Holdings Limited, Hazi Shakhawat Anwara Eye Hospital, Marry Gold Holdings Limited and Modern Diabetic Centre.
Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury is the chairman of Kattali Textile Ltd and Managing Director of DN Securities Ltd, Lucky Shipping, Lucky Store/Lucky Corner and Lifetime Member of Chittagong Press Club.
Besides, the meeting also re-elected Md Humayun Kabir Patwary as chairman of the Executive Committee (Managing Director of Park Group), Khorshed Alam Khan as chairman of Claim Committee, Md Mahedi Hasan as chairman of Audit Committee and Md Azizul Hossain Baten as chairman of Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
