Talks on safe drinking water held in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Apr 23: A discussion meeting on Safe Drinking Water Planning was held at Muktamancho of Fudkipara on Tuesday afternoon.
Speakers at the meeting mentioned, there was no alternative of safe water in saving life, livelihood and biodiversity.
They said, without safe water not a single life could exist and due to use of contaminated water, lives of millions of animals and human beings are at stake. There was a huge crisis of safe and pure water worldwide and in Bangladesh, water is being contaminated by people in various ways. They said, if such contamination of water continues further, there will be no safe water left for human consumption.
