Tangail, Bhola road accidents kill three

A total of three people were killed in separate road accidents in Tangail and Bhola districts on Tuesday, reports BSS.
In Tangail, a woman and her daughter were killed and her husband was injured as a covered van entered their house in the Nalla Bazar area on the Jamalpur-Tangail highway under Dhanbari upazila of the district early Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ful Rani, 42, and her daughter Radhika Rani Das, 12. Ful Rani's husband Gonesh Rabi Das was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge of Dhanbari Police Station M Jasim Uddin said that the accident occurred in the area when the driver of the covered van lost control over the steering. Ful Rani and her daughter Radhika Rani died on the spot.
In Bhola, a motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Chawkbazar area of Jinnagar union under Charfashion upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Md Shaheen, 23, son of Md. Aminul Islam, resident of Ward No. 8 of Jinnagar union of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charfashion Police Station Md. Murad Hossain said that Shaheen was going to bkash office by motorcycle from his home, on the way, he lost control over the bike and fell on the roadside around 9am and was seriously injured.
Locals rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex.
