Tangail, Kurigram road crashes kill two

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Tangail and Kurigram districts on Thursday, reports BSS
In Tangail, a man was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a battery-run auto rickshaw near Golabari bridge under Madhupur upazila of the district on Thursday.
The deceased was auto-rickshaw driver Abdul Gafur, 50,
The accident took place as the two vehicles collided head-on around 2 pm, leaving auto rickshaw driver Gafur dead on the spot and three others injured, said Russell Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Madhupur Police Station.
In Kurigram, a driver was killed after being crushed under the wheels of a potato-laden vehicle in the east side of Dharla Bridge here on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Abul Hossain, 55, a resident of Bhangir Bazar area of Bhogdanga union in Sadar upazila.
