Tangail press club election held

TANGAIL, Dec 03: Advocate Khan M Khaled (Editor of weekly Purbakash) and Kamanashish Shekher (Prothom Alo) have been elected president and general secretary of Tangail press club respectively. The election was held at Press Club Bhaban last week.
The other bearers of the club are: Vice-president-- Biman Bihari Das (Daily Sangbad) and Jafar Ahmed (Editor, Daily Mojloomer Kontha), Treasurer-- Md Nasir uddin (ATN), Joint Secretary-- Mohabbat Hossain (NTV) and Advocate Abu Rayhan Khan (Bhorer Dak), Cultural Secretary-- Rashed Rahman (Weekly Purbakash), Athletic secretary-- Eftekharul Anupam (Daily Janakantha), Office Secretary-- Ehsanul Haque Khan Shaheen (Amader Samay).
Elected executive members are: Dr Mohammad Kamruzzaman (The New Nation), Advocate Ataur Rahman Azad (Daily Inqilab), Shamshadul Akhter Shamim (Daily Dinkal), MA Sattar Ukil (Weekly MowBazar) and SM Awal Miah (Bangla Bazar).
Chairman of election commission of Tangail press club Haroon Ur Rashid and member of the commission Advocate Nihar Shaker and Advocate Abdur Rashid (GP, Tangail) conducted the election.
