Tariq-ul-Islam new chairman of BSFIC

Additional Secretary Tariq-ul-Islam Sunday joined as chairman of Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC), said a press release.
Prior to his new assignment, he worked in Cabinet Division of the Secretariat.
Mr Tariq obtained MSS degree with honour's in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka.
He joined Bangladesh Civil Service (Administrative cadre) in 1982.
He is experienced in current development administration who participated in international seminars, symposium in UK, USA, Germany, China, Argentina, South Korea and many other countries.
In his career, he worked as deputy commissioner, chief metropolitan magistrate, Dhaka and held many other responsible posts in different ministries/divisions of the government.
