Tarique joins BNP founding prog in London

BNP's Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman joined a programme in London organised to mark the party’s 36th founding anniversary on Tuesday. BNP’s UK unit organised the function at Autrium Banquetting Hall in East London in the early hours of Tuesday (Bangladesh standard time). More than 500 activists of UK chapter BNP and the party’s organisations in other European countries attended the meeting presided over by the UK chapter BNP chief Shaesta Chowdhury Kuddus, and conducted by General Secretary Koysar Ahmed. A documentary made by ‘Policy Forum’ highlighting the contribution of the party’s founder Ziaur Rahman, Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman in taking the BNP forward was shown at the beginning of the function, according to bdnews24.com.
