BNP’s Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman’s ‘distasteful’ remarks against Bangladesh’s founder Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman are embarrassing even his party leaders and activists, Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has said. He said ‘An absconding person is making false and distasteful remarks one after another against Bangabandhu from abroad. Those (remarks) are totally baseless. Even BNP leaders and activists are affected by this absconding man’s statements. BNP leaders and activists are embarrassed,’ the added, while addressing a programme in the city, according to a news agency.
