Tarique statements suicidal for BNP: Suranjit
Saturday, 20 December 2014
Senior Awami League leader Suranjit Sengupta has said statements of Tarique Rahman are ‘suicidal’ for BNP. He said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is unable to understand that her party will be most affected by weird activities of Tarique Rahman, senior vice chairman of the party and also the elder son of the BNP chief. Sengupta’s reaction came after Tarique had called Bangladesh’s founder Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman a ‘Razakar’ while addressing a programme in London on December 15. ‘The unspeakable words of this ignorant son of Khaleda Zia will be suicidal for their politics. Their politics will be erased from Bangladesh’s history,’ Sengupta added, according to a news agency.
