Taskforce members seize passports of DCC's staffs

The members of special taskforce of the national coordination committee for curbing serious crimes Monday seized passports of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) officers, employees and their family members, reports bdnews24.com.
DCC public relations officer Abdur Rahman told the news agency that the taskforce members seized the passports and took them away after sealing them in envelopes.
DCC secretary Golam Mostafa ordered all corporation staff to deposit their and family members' passports with the secretary's office within three days of receipt of the order, Rahman said.
Anyone requiring his passport should apply stating the reason, he said quoting the order.
