Taskforce raids Khaleda aide's home

BOGRA, June 26 (bdnews24.com): The members of the taskforce raided former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's assignment officer Firoz Mahmud's home here today.
Mahmud has remained untraced since the state of emergency was declared.
The members of taskforce searched Mahmud's Bakshi Bazar home for about two hours. Mahmud's mother, Rokeya Begum, was at home during the raid.
According to Rokeya Begum, army officers took away some documents from the home.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and the police surrounded the house, while army officials with the taskforce conducted the raid inside.
Deputy Director of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for Bogra Ashish Kumar Kundu said: "The taskforce conducted the drive, we only assisted them."
The ACC has filed a number of cases against Mahmud.
