Tax fair should continue

 
I was really impressed by the high quality service in the recently- concluded tax fair. I went to get an e-tin certificate for a foreigner and to my pleasant surprise it took only 20 minutes to complete the job. The desk officers of the tax fair were helpful and the whole atmosphere was festive.
I hope the taxpayers will receive the same kind of service when they go to any tax office. I heartily congratulate the finance ministry and the national board of revenue for such wonderful arrangement and I hope we will see such tax fair next year also all over the Bangladesh.  
We, the citizens, must pay our tax honestly so that the country can move forward. We can make the country financially self-reliant. When we are mostly dependent on foreign loans we have to accept many unfair conditions of the donors.
I hope with the tax payer's money we will be able to salvage ourselves from the shackles of foreign loans and become a truly independent nation.
