Tax return deadline expires today

The deadline for submission of the tax return for the assessment year 2007-08 will expire today (Sunday). The National Board of Revenue (NBR) had extended the deadline by two days to December 2 considering the weekly holidays, as it was scheduled to expire Friday. Earlier, the NBR had extended the deadline twice following poor response from the taxpayers.
