TCB sells key items from today

The government is set to start selling three key essential items among 10-million low-income cardholding families today (Sunday).
The items, including edible oil, lentil and rice, will be sold by the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB), according to a statement issued by the state entity on Saturday.
Each cardholder can buy a maximum of 2.0 litres of soybean oil at Tk 100 per litre and 2.0-kg lentil at Tk 60 per kg.
Besides, they can also purchase 5.0-kilo rice at Tk 30 per kg from specific TCB points.
