Tea processing plant opened in Panchagarh

NILPHAMARI June 12: Another tea processing plant has been opened in Panchagarh district. Sources said this is the third tea processing plant in Panchagarh district so far.
The new tea processing plant named Korotoa Tea Plant situated just eight kilometres away from Panchagarh town was ceremonially opened recently by Tea Board Chairman Brigadier General Mosharaf Hossain. The opening ceremony was attended, among others, by Managing Director of National Credit and Commerce Bank Ltd Golam Hafiz Ahmed and others. Sources added 100 small tea farmers were also present there.
