Tea seller chopped to death in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, May 19 (UNB): A tea stall owner was slaughtered to death by miscreants at Sonakura village in Rampal upazila early today.
The deceased was identified as Harun Sheikh, 45, son of late Abdus Sattar Sheikh of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Rampal Police Station Kazi Daud Hossain said Harun came under attack by a group of miscreants while he was sleeping in his shop on Sunday midnight.
The attackers chopped him with sharp weapons and later slaughtered him, leaving him dead on the spot.
