Teachers must learn computer: Nahid

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said teachers of all educational institutions must learn computer.
 “Information Technology is essential for raising the standard of education and bringing dynamism in it. Teachers of all educational institutions, including that of schools, colleges and madrasas, must learn computer,” he said.
The minister said this while addressing the closing ceremony of a 14- day training programme on digital content at Dhaka Teachers’ Training College Auditorium in the city Saturday, according to a news agency.
The Minister said the education ministry is in advance position in the extension of information technology from the beginning.
Nahid urged the teachers who took training from the programme to share their knowledge on IT based teaching method with their colleagues.
