Teenage boy commits suicide

A teenage boy allegedly committed suicide by taking poison at Chamordola village in Nikli Upazila of Kishoreganj Friday night. The deceased was identified as shopkeeper Azhar Miah (17), son of Saudi expatriate Atosh Ali of the village. Police said an altercation ensued between Azhar and Taijuddin.Later, when Azhar went to a village fair Friday night Taijuddin and his friends beat him mercilessly. Later, failing to bear the manhandling Azher returned to his shop and took poison in a bid to commit suicide. He was first rushed to MCH where the attending doctor declared him dead. - UNB
